Hebron Lutheran Church EST-1717 Built-1740 |

My wife and I recently took a trip back through time, we went to Va.
and followed the Vaught's movements from the Culpeper area. Where we
visited the Hebron church site, I must say it gave me a warm feeling
to stand on the very site where John Paul Vaught stood in 1740, then
to Wythe Co., Smyth Co. Our time limit did not allow us to take in
all we wanted to although we did visit the Kimberling Lutheran Church
site. As you know some of our Vaught's are on that Church's records.
Then down through the Cumberland Gap, Then to Pitman Creek in Pulaski
co.ky. -Mt Zion--Vaught Ridge, You know the rest of the story. jsv |

Clayton, Minnie Foster 1922
Clayton was the son of James Berditt Foster and Isabell McAninch
Casey Co.ky. around Bethelridge down on Rocklick creek.
His father James Berditt Foster was raised by his Grand Mother
Dethia Meeks the widow of James Meeks. At that time what is now
Dunnville was Williams Store post office. As a young teen he went to
some function at Bethelridge Ky he was introduced to Bruce Jones who
took him in and he worked as a farm hand for his keep and Grew to be
a pillow of that community.
